House of Marley announces two new speakers and its first Bluetooth in-ears

House of Marley’s lineup of audio products is already fairly substantial, and it’s only getting bigger. On Wednesday, the company announced three new additions to its family, including the company’s first pair of Bluetooth in-ear headphones, the Voyage BT, and two new Bluetooth speakers in the Get Together Mini and Riddim BT. All of the new models use the company’s eco-friendly Regrind silicone rubber and Rewind fabric.

“With this launch, we’ve expanded our collection to include a new product category, allowing us to showcase a wide array of brilliantly designed, eco-conscious audio devices,” Josh Poulsen, House of Marley director of product development, said in a statement. “This line of audio products offers a warm, vibrant sound unique to each device that features superior performance and the latest technology.”

Voyage BT

The Voyage BT in-ear headphones are meant for those with active lifestyles, and as such, they are sweat-proof, with a moisture-resistant housing and IPX4 rating. The in-ears feature 6mm dynamic drivers, with the built-in battery providing up to six hours of play time. With a body constructed out of bamboo and Regrind rubber, the headphones feature a Rewind fabric-wound cable featuring an included mic and remote.

The Voyage BT headphones are available in one color — Signature Black — and sell for a retail price of $100.

Get Together Mini

As the name implies, the Get Together Mini is a scaled-down version of House of Marley’s popular Get Together portable speaker. This model features dual 0.75-inch tweeters and a pair of 2.25-inch woofers behind a natural bamboo face place, wrapped in the company’s Rewind fabric.

For connectivity, the speaker uses Bluetooth 4.1 with A2DP audio as well as a 3.5mm auxiliary jack, with a wireless range of up to 15 meters. Multiple Get Together Mini speakers can even be paired for more expansive sound. Battery life is claimed as up to 10 hours of playback time, with a Micro USB cable included for charging.

The Get Together Mini is available in a variety of styles including Denim, Palm and Signature Black, and retails for $150.

Riddim BT

While the name might imply an alternate take on the company’s Riddim headphones, House of Marley’s Riddim BT is actually an ultraportable Bluetooth speaker, complete with an included carrying strap. Like the other models announced, the speaker is built from natural bamboo and House of Marley’s Rewind and Regrind materials. The speaker packs in two 8-watt full-range drivers, as well as a pair of passive radiators for enhanced bass.

The Riddim BT includes an integrated mic for speakerphone functionality, making it a nice companion for hands-free calls on the go. Like the Get Together Mini, wireless range is stated as 15 meters, with battery life stated as up to 10 hours of playback time. Also like the other newly announced speaker, multiple Riddim BT units can be paired for bigger sound.

The Riddim BT speaker is available in Signature Black and Natural finishes, and sells for $130.

All of these new models are available now. For more information on any of the new products, see the House of Marley website.
