Check out our review of the Marshall Stanmore bluetooth speaker.

Marshall may be best known for rocking stages and concert halls with its wide array of professional amplifiers. But the company’s consumer division, Marshall Headphones, is quietly trying to creep into your living room as well, unveiling today another addition to its growing lineup, the Marshall Stanmore. Layered in vinyl and dripping with gold accents, the Stanmore also boasts 21st century upgrades like Bluetooth capability, blending modern technology with the style of an amp plucked straight from a 70’s recording studio.

The Stanmore is stocked with dual ¾-inch dome tweeters and a 5 ¼-inch woofer, powered by a Class D amplifier that pumps out a total of 80 watts of force. Inputs include Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, an optical input to connect to your TV or set-top box, an RCA stereo input, and a 3.5mm input, complete with a gold-capped coiled cable that’s straight out of a Zeppelin video. The total frequency response for the little cab is estimated at 45Hz-22kHZ, and it’s available in either classic black or cream.

We were pretty much in love with the sound and style of the last consumer speaker from Marshall Headphones, the Hanwell, but we were disappointed with the omission of any digital or wireless connection, which are pretty much prerequisites in today’s competitive marketplace. Now that Marshall has moved its vintage aesthetic into the wireless arena with the Stanmore, we’re excited to check this baby out for ourselves.

The Marshall Stanmore is priced at $400, and is available today.

Want Dish in your home? They’ll install it free if you act now
Man watching NFL on Dish.

One of the worst parts of signing up for cable or, to be honest, any new service is the part where you have to wait on the service installation. It can take hours and, even if you're lucky enough to get it done on time, it is costly. But, if you act now, you can get Dish — one of the best live TV services — to come to your house and install your Dish and set up your receiver for free. That's a savings of $200 over the usual charge. Tap the button below to check out how simple getting Dish is, and keep reading to see our take.

What to expect with free Dish installation
Waiting is the worst part of the installation game, of course, almost worse than paying. Once you've ordered the service, you can get it professionally installed for free as soon as tomorrow. But, it can almost ruin your day when a tech is set to arrive at any point over the course of 10+ hours. This is why, on the day of your technician's scheduled visit, you'll get a 75-minute arrival window so you can go about the rest of your day as planned. You'll also get access to My Tech, which takes a page from services like Uber and Lyft to show you exactly where your tech is at on a GPS map. There's no wondering if you'll get a tech today and no wasting time calling support and waiting through the lines.
