Best Prime Day Deals Samsung Deals
This story is part of the Digital Trends Amazon Prime Day Coverage 2024

Update 10/10/24: Amazon has closed out another Prime Big Deal Days event, but in its aftermath there are still some Prime Day deals hanging around. OLED TVs are among them, so we’ve gotten all of the best Prime Day OLED TV deals updated to reflect what’s going on in the wake of Prime Day.

If you’ve been thinking about getting an upgrade for your home theater setup, you don’t want to miss the OLED TV deals of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days. The shopping event is now over but discounts on OLED TVs made by LG, Sony, and Samsung are still hanging around. These are the best TV brands when it comes to the impressive display technology, so any savings that you can enjoy when buying any of these OLED TVs should be considered a huge bonus. You may also want to check out the Prime Day QLED TV deals that we’ve rounded up if you want additional options, and Prime Day soundbar deals if you want better audio.

And because Prime Big Deal Days deals has ended, stocks are likely running low, particularly for the more popular models of OLED TVs. That’s why we highly recommend pushing forward with a purchase once something catches your eye, as we’re not sure how much longer these Prime Day deals will last.

LG 42-inch C3 OLED Evo — $997 $1,197 17% off

While the version on sale is considerably smaller, it still has many of the same great qualities as the TV we looked at for our LG C3 OLED review — delightful contrast, great color quality, and excellent gaming features. This is probably the best small OLED deal out there right now.

LG 55-inch B4 OLED — $997 $1,297 23% off

LG

The 55-inch LG B4 OLED TV is a relatively affordable OLED TV that comes with built-in Amazon’s Alexa, which will allow it to understand voice commands. The TV also runs on LG’s webOS 24 platform, for access to streaming services, and it offers free content through LG Channels. It’s on sale with a $300 discount, which is equivalent to 23% off.

Samsung 55-inch S85D OLED — $998 $1,698 41% off

Samsung

The 55-inch Samsung S85D OLED TV is a steal at its lowered price, with a 41% discount resulting in savings of $700. That brings this powerful TV down to nearly half-price, and it’s going to be an excellent upgrade for any home theater setup.

Samsung 48-inch S90D OLED — $1,048 $1,598 34% off

Samsung S90D 4K OLED TV.
Samsung

The 48-inch Samsung S90D OLED 4K TV is from one of the best TV brands, and its NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor actively improves the visual quality of everything that you watch. It’s got Samsung’s Tizen operating system so you can watch your favorite streaming shows, and it comes with the Samsung Gaming Hub to play video games without a console. It’s 34% off, for savings of $550.

LG 65-inch C4 OLED Evo (2024) — $1,497 $2,700 45% off

LG C4 OLED
Zeke Jones / Digital Trends

The LG 65-inch C4 OLED Evo is this year’s model and the runner-up (right down to the size) in our best OLED’s list, where it is praised for sticking to the heart of what makes an OLED a great OLED while also having a 144Hz refresh rate and “some of the best response times and lag-free performance we’ve seen on an OLED” for gaming. Get it now for about a third less than what others have been spending on it.

Samsung 77-inch S95C QD-OLED — $2,298 $2,798 18% off

A somewhat bigger version of the TV in our best OLED list that fit in as the best QD-OLED (meaning “quantum dot” OLED, these TVs deliver wide colors at intensive brightnesses). But, as our Samsung S95C review will point out, the TV also has “perfect black levels” to boot. Its still premium pricing but you’re getting $500 off with this deal.

Samsung 65-inch S95D QD-OLED (2024) — $2,600 $3,400 24% off

Samsung S95D OLED review
Zeke Jones / Digital Trends

One of the best Samsung TVs and the best Samsung OLED, the S95D does well in bright rooms — something you don’t necessarily typically get much praise for on an OLED. This is, in part, due to its unusually high (for an OLED) brightness and the anti-glare coating that, as described in our Samsung S95D review, can be finicky at first but is a net positive in the end. The end result is an OLED that looks great where many don’t.

LG 77-inch M3 Wireless OLED — $3,978 $5,000 20% off

LG M3 Wireless OLED review

This one is a bit unusual — in a good way. As you’ll see in our LG M3 Wireless OLED review, if you have a real, honest-to-goodness line of sight between the ‘Zero Connect’ box and the TV you can transfer medio to it with “no added compression or pixelization.” This is one for those that hate having HDMI cables running everywhere.

Sony 83-inch Bravia XR A80L — $3,998 $5,299 25% off

Sony A80L 4K OLED TV.
Sony / Sony

Here’s another great Sony OLED, this time in a gigantic size and with a solid 25% discount. It is noted for its excellent HDR performance and great picture quality.

Sony 77-inch Bravia XR A95L — $4,399 $4,897 10% off

Best TV vs Biggest: Sony A95L & TCL QM8
Digital Trends

The A95L got an extremely rare five out of five stars from Caleb Denison in our Sony Bravia A95L review. While the S95C and LG G3 (you’ll see them elsewhere on the list) are very close in picture quality, this TV had just a little extra to make it the best of the TVs at the time (in November 2023). Of course, more than picture quality was discussed, with even the built-in speakers getting a thumbs up. Check out the review to get the full details, then check out this TV while you can save around $500 on it.

LG 83-inch G4 OLED Evo (2024) — $5,497 $6,500 15% off

LG G4 OLED
Zeke Jones / Digital Trends

A gigantic version of our overall favorite OLED with a generous discount applied, saving you $1,200 off the usual price. Our LG G4 OLED review, quite honestly, praises the TV for too much to cover in one bite, but to sum it all up, it is the “most capable and versatile OLED TV” our reviewer (Caleb Denison) had ever tested.

How to choose an OLED TV on Prime Day

Among all the Prime Day OLED TV deals that are available, it will be tough to select the one to buy. There are lots of features to consider — Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for a cinematic experience, 4K Ultra HD resolution for sharp details, and HDR for accurate colors, just to name a few. However, truthfully, most OLED TVs share these features. To begin making your decision, go back to the basics — check our guide on what size TV to buy to determine how big of a screen you can get. You’ll waste the discounts of Prime Big Deal Days if you get an OLED TV that’s smaller than what you could have gotten, and you’ll regret getting an OLED TV that’s too large once you find out that you don’t have enough space for it.

Another important thing to consider is the smart TV platform that comes with the OLED TV. All of them will give you access to all of the popular streaming services, but you may want to get one with an operating system that you’re already comfortable with, and ideally also supports the digital assistant that you’re using with your other smart home devices for familiarity.

How we chose these OLED TV Prime Day deals

First and foremost, we selected these OLED TV Prime Day deals based on our knowledge of the brands. Getting an OLED TV is a significant investment, so we want you to get the best possible technology with your purchase. You can’t go wrong with any of the top three brands in the space — LG, Sony, and Samsung — and they’re the ones that are heavily featured on this page.

We didn’t just list any OLED TV that comes with a discount though. The point of shopping during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days is to score huge savings, so just a few dollars doesn’t cut if for us. We looked for offers that slash hundreds of dollars off OLED TVs’ prices, as those are the ones that are worth buying. Taking advantage of these bargains will let you walk away from the shopping event feeling like a winner.

The best Sonos alternatives
Close up of Sonos logo on a Sonos Arc soundbar.

We have recommended Sonos wireless speakers and components for years. We still think the company makes a fantastic product. But the absolute fiasco caused by the May 7 Sonos app redesign broke almost every aspect of the Sonos experience -- and we’re still waiting for fixes that were promised weeks ago.

If you’re a Sonos owner, we share your frustration. If your investment in the company’s ecosystem is significant, your best bet is to wait and ride out this storm. Eventually things will return to normal and, hopefully, the Sonos experience will be better than before.

Sports on Paramount Plus.

Now that cord-cutting is a staple of modern TV watching, we get to live in an age of streaming platforms. From Netflix and Hulu to Amazon Prime Video, there are numerous options at our disposal, and one of our favorites is Paramount+. Formerly CBS All Access, Paramount’s streaming hub is home to hundreds of movies and TV shows, some of which are Paramount exclusives. The platform also features a solid selection of sports content.

No longer a U..S exclusive, Paramount+ is available internationally in Canada, Australia, Europe, and Brazil. Like any robust streaming service, there’s plenty to learn about the Paramount platform.
