Sling TV is one of the more affordable ways to stream live TV online because it allows you to customize what kind of content you’re paying for. Basketball fans should make it a top consideration, as Sling currently has a package available that ensures you’ll have access to all of the NBA playoffs. Sling offers two base subscription packages, Orange and Blue. Sling Orange is focused on sports and family entertainment, while Sling Blue is primarily focused on news and general entertainment. You can also buy a subscription to both Orange and Blue. Other packages are available that add channels not available through either base plan. Unfortunately there is no Sling TV free trial happening right now.

How much does Sling TV cost?

Sling TV’s Orange package regularly costs $40 per month, and its Blue package offers several more channels and comes in at $45 per month. However, you can save on each with the deals mentioned above. You can also combine Sling Orange and Sling Blue for $60 per month, and savings on that is listed above as well.

Get access to 250 channels, including live sports from the NFL, NBA, NFL, the PGA Tour, and more, instant access to over 36,000 free On Demand titles, with steep discounts available for both new and returning subscribers. Best of all, prices are locked in for two years, so you can wave goodbye to unprecedented price increases. Oh, and did we mention you can watch up to four different sports games at the same time, skip commercials on select primetime shows, and watch and record up to 16 shows at once? Do cable the right way and try Dish today.

Should you find that a specific channel or group of channels isn’t part of Sling Orange or Sling Blue, you can purchase add-ons and extra channel packages. For instance, News Extra is $6 per month and adds BBC Worldwide, NewsMax, News Nation and others. The $6 Lifestyle Extra adds channels like VH1 and Hallmark. There are also Sports, Entertainment, Kids, Hollywood and Heartland extras. Sports is $11 per month and the others are $6 per month.
