XtremeMac has unveiled a new entry in its line of iPod speaker accessories in the form of the Tango Studio Audio System for iPod. Aimed at users who want to pop their iPods into bookshelf or desktop speaker systems, the Tango Studio offers two 3-inch drivers, a wireless remote, and a sleek black profile with a cloth grill and blue LED status display. The unit is priced at $79.95, and is available for pre-order now via the XtremeMac Web site, and will be appearing shortly at retail outlets.
"Tango Studio is at the very top of its class," said XtremeMac CEO Gary Bart, in a release. "You get a powerful two-way speaker system compatible with any iPod, a radio and a wireless remote all for $80. It’s a phenomenal value."
The Tango Studio is compatible with all iterations of Apple’s iPod nano, the iPod with video, the 4G iPods, the iPod mini, and the new iPod classic and iPod touch. The unit features an integrated FM Tuuner, an auxiliary jack for hooking up other iPod models or audio sources, and offers an audio output for connecting the system to computers or gaming systems. Of course, the Tango Studio charged iPods while docked, and the included wireless remote lets users control their tunes from up to 50 feet away.
