Grovemade launches stunning new line of hardwood and leather desktop accessories

Grovemade, a Portland, OR-based company known for its signature wooden iPhone cases, has just announced it’s latest line of products — and they’re not just phone or tablet cases anymore. This week, the company pulled the veil back on a slew of new desktop accessories, all of which are (surprise!) made from Grovemade’s favorite materials — machined aluminum, high-grade leather, Eastern Hardrock Maple, and Black Oregon Walnut.

“We wanted to craft something unlike anything we’ve ever done in the past and we achieved this by breathing life into our workspace by introducing natural materials to every day desk accessories,” says Ken Tomita, Grovemade’s co-founder. “Your desk is a projection of your personality and the Grovemade team believes we should all project our best.”

First in the lineup is the company’s new Monitor Stand — a sleek wooden platform designed for laptops and standing desks that elevates your screen by four inches to improve posture. And don’t worry if you’re rocking a particularly large and heavy monitor either– thanks to Grovemade’s glue lamination process and hardy materials, these stands can support up to 200 pounds of weight.

Due to it’s elevated design, the stand also provides an extra bit of storage space for other desk accessories, such as the company’s new Keyboard Tray — which, as it turns out, also gives you some extra storage. Underneath the keyboard, the tray features compartments for pens, notes, and any other sundries that you’d prefer to keep out of sight, but still have quick access to.

To make your desktop a bit more comfortable, the collection also includes a Keyboard Wrist Pad that’s ergonomically designed to keep wrists elevated and supported. It is available in Eastern Hardrock Maple and Black Oregon Walnut in combination with an aluminum bottom, and also features black or tan vegetable leather that ages gracefully with time, becoming softer and more distinguished.

And that’s just the beginning. Grovemade also offers a leather mouse pad, wooden desk lamp, plant pot, and a number of holders and cups for common desk items like pens and paperclips. We highly recommend you check out the rest of the collection on the company’s website, since words hardly do the products justice.
