Normally around to offer customers a cheaper way to officially use AT&T’s network, GoPhone now offers several of its prepaid smartphones at discounted prices just in time for the holidays.
Beginning today, customers can grab the ZTE ZMax 2 for $90, while the Asus ZenFone 2E, the cheaper cousin of the flagship ZenFone 2 smartphone, goes for $60. Elsewhere, the Microsoft Lumia 640 is being sold for a ridiculously low $20, while the Moto E 2015 is being sold at an even lower $15.
The Lumia 640 will be among the current crop of Windows smartphones to receive the Windows 10 for Mobile update, so you’d be getting a smartphone that will be supported, at least in the near future, by its manufacturer. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the other three smartphones, most infamously the Moto E 2015, though they still represent great values at their respective price points.
The highlight of the deals, however, belongs to the ZTE Maven, which will be offered to customers for free if they opt for either the $45 or $60 a month plan. The $45 plan includes 1.5GB of 4G LTE data, as well as unlimited calls and texts. The $60 plan steps the high-speed data cap up to 4GB, though both plans include Rollover Data, which lets you use any unused data belonging to one billing cycle for the next cycle. However, customers have until the end of the next billing cycle to use the saved-up data.
The ZTE Maven isn’t that shabby of a smartphone, equipped with a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset and 1GB of RAM under the hood. Elsewhere, a 5-megapixel camera sits on the back, while selfie lovers will have to settle for the 0.3-megapixel camera up front. Finally, 8GB of internal storage is all you’re afforded, though that can be expanded through the Micro SD card slot.
As already mentioned, all of these deals are currently live, though there’s no word on when they will expire.
