They don’t come much cheaper than this basic TPU case from Terrapin. It’s very thin and very flexible. There are openings for the ports and camera, but the buttons are covered. There’s also a slight bevel on the front to protect the screen. This isn’t a rugged case, but it will guard against scuffs and small drops if you’re lucky. The finish comes in black or pink, there’s no logo or other markings, and it’s glossy and slightly translucent.

HTC Dot View Case ($50)

Set to land this month is a version of HTC’s unusual Dot View case for the Desire Eye. It has a dot matrix pattern on the front that allows you to take calls, get notifications, and check the weather without opening the case. There’s a dedicated app, so you can configure it the way you want. We expect the Desire Eye version will have a cut-out for that front-facing selfie camera as well. It does also have reinforced corners to protect against drops. You can get it in black, blue, orange, or red.

HTC Selfie Stand ($25)

This is a simple case that’s designed to take full advantage of the Desire Eye’s selfie capabilities. There’s a wedge cut-out at the back that’s hinged, so you can swing it open and prop the phone in landscape or portrait views. Now you can capture shots and video without danger of wobble, and it will be good for watching videos, too. Generous cut-outs provide full access to everything and there’s an HTC logo on the fold-out stand.

Krucel Leather Sleeve ($35)

Fancy a leather sleeve for your HTC Desire Eye? These are handmade in the USA using American leather from the Herman Oak Tannery in Missouri. You can choose the exterior color you want; there are nine shades of dye in all. You can also select custom stampings for the outside to add a bit of character. The sleeves are fully lined with secure stitching, and there are brass clips at the top to ensure durability.
