CinemaNow Offers Mobile Ordering

CinemaNow Offers Mobile Ordering

Digital movie download service CinemaNow has launched a . that enabled customers to view movie trailers on their mobile phones, as well as order movies to be watched later at home on their personal computers or televisions. The idea is to enable CinemaNow users to check out movies and make a rental or purchase decision when they’re away from home: when users purchase or rent a movie via the mobile service, it’s automatically downloaded to the user’s registered home PC or media center setup, and should be ready to watch by the time the user gets home.

The new CinemaNow mobile service is being driven by mobile video operator UvuMobile.

The service does not enable mobile users to watch full-length movies on their phone, although CinemaNow has said it plans to introduce just that sort of service in the future.

CinemaNow’s download service is compatible with Windows XP/Vista and Windows Media Player 10; depending on the title and conditions, users may be able to rent or buy movies, sometimes with the ability to burn them to DVD, although rented movies can’t be synced to portable players. Rentals are typically $1.99 and good for 24 hours once playback has started; movies typically cast between $9.99 and $14.99.

If you own a Pixel phone, discovering what music is playing near you is now easier than ever. Google includes an exclusive feature called Now Playing in its Pixel 2 and newer phones, so you're not scouring the internet trying to figure out what that song was you just heard playing.

In short, the Now Playing feature automatically recognizes and shows you the title and artist of that mystery song on the lock screen. It also keeps track of those songs so you can access them later. However, you must manually enable this feature first. In this guide, we show you how to enable Now Playing, how to access the history, and tweak the notifications you get.
How to turn on Now Playing
Now Playing shows songs that are playing in your vicinity right on your lock screen. Again, this feature is only supported on the Google Pixel 2 or later -- you won't be able to follow these instructions on other phones or the original Pixel. Here's how to turn it on:

T-Mobile’s new Magenta Max plan offers truly unlimited 5G data, 40GB of hot spot
The T-Mobile logo on a smartphone.

T-Mobile is adding another phone plan to its lineup, and it's the plan you may want to go for if you're a heavy data user with a 5G-compatible phone. Why? The company says that it won't throttle users -- no matter how much data they use.

The new plan is called Magenta Max, and T-Mobile says it's the first plan to allow for unlimited 5G data use without being throttled based on how much data you use. Not only that, but you won't be limited in other ways either -- you'll be able to stream 4K video, and you'll get a hefty 40GB of hot spot data per month to share with other devices. (And of course, if you find yourself in a 4G-only area, you still get unlimited data.)
