First up is the iPhone 5C and 5S. The carrier has marked down the iPhone 5C 16GB to $180 and the 32GB for $230. You can also grab the iPhone 5S 16GB for $200 or the 32GB for $250.
If Android or Windows Phone is more your thing, there are a number of options to choose from. You have your choice of four different phones for free if you switch to Cricket and port a number over: LG Risio, Motorola Moto E, ZTE Overture 2, or Nokia Lumia 635. This works by paying the sale price for the phone upfront, and you will receive a Visa gift card later for the same amount. As an example, if you opted for the Moto E, you would pay $50 now and receive a $50 Visa gift card in about eight weeks. You do have to sign up for at least a $40 per month plan and make your second service payment within 45 days in order to receive the card.
If you want something a little fancier, you can opt for instant savings on select phones if you switch to Cricket and port your number over. This is actually a better deal because you don’t have to wait eight weeks to receive a gift card. You can opt for the LG G Stylo (pictured above), which costs only $50 after a $100 discount. The carrier also has the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime for only $30 after a $70 discount and the ZTE Sonta 2 for only $10 after a $20 discount.
As far as plans go, Cricket offers the Basic plan, which costs $40 per month and includes 2.5GB of high-speed data. You can also choose the Smart plan, which costs $50 per month and includes 5GB of high-speed data or the Pro plan, which costs $60 per month and includes 10GB of high-speed data. All plans include unlimited calls and texts.
Cricket Wireless is running this promotion until January 7, 2016, or until supplies last. We should note that AT&T customers aren’t eligible for these deals since Cricket is a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T. Happy shopping!
