The game also brings back many of the original voice actors of the Disney princesses, including Ariel, Rapunzel, and Tiana. As part of the game, you’ll be able to do things like create paintings as Rapunzel, explore underwater as Ariel as you hunt for human treasures and rescue your friends from shipwrecks, and so on. Each time you do through an adventure, you’ll get a charm for your bracelet, which you can customize and share with your friends.
The game is developed specifically for kids aged 6-8, and is focused largely on admirable inner qualities of each princess. It’s important to remember that the app does have in-app purchases, so if you’re handing your device over to your child you may want to keep an eye out to make sure that they don’t make purchases on your credit card.
It’s interesting to see how much of an emphasis Disney has been placing on mobile in the past few years, but it certainly makes sense. The company recently canceled the Disney Infinity toys-to-life franchise, which was aimed at developing video games for consoles, but we should expect to see plenty of mobile games coming from the company.
