Android smartphones can’t use our favorite smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 7, but the existence of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch range is an excellent alternative for those who forsake iPhones. The newest inclusions in the Samsung Galaxy Watch range — the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro — are now available for purchase, and as you might expect, both are exceptional smartwatches. If you’re looking for a new Android smartwatch, these two watches should be the first on your list to consider.
So how do you buy one? Pre-orders have ended, and people will now have received the brand-new watches they pre-ordered. But even if you missed the pre-order rush, there are plenty to still grab. Here’s how you can buy the
Buying from Samsung
You can get up to $240 off when you buy from Samsung and trade in a smartwatch. Only the top flagship smartwatches will get $240, but you’re guaranteed to get at least $125 from an eligible trade-in. As it’s a network carrier, AT&T is only offering the LTE models of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. It’s also offering the watches on 36-month contracts, which makes them a tad more affordable if you’re a little worried about the size of monthly payments.
There are trade-ins available, but you’ll be trading them in for an AT&T promotional card rather than directly trading it for the watch. As such, the only limit is on the value of the device you’re trading in, and an iPhone 13 Pro Max will net you a $650 card you can use to buy your device outright or pay your monthly bills.
