In the holiday spirit yet? Motorola sure is. If you’re thinking of grabbing a Moto X Style Pure Edition — as a gift or for yourself — check out the three new unique designs Motorola is releasing in the lead up to the holiday season.
The company is teaming up with designer Jonathan Adler, known for his home furnishings, on three eye-catching designs that will be available for pre-order on November 24. The designs are exclusively for the Moto X Style Pure Edition and will be available to purchase in the Moto Maker store on December 3. If you choose one of the special backs for your 32GB Moto X Style Pure Edition, you’ll pay $475 total.
The designs, as you can see above, include a polka-dot styled back, a back with two semi circles on the sides, and one with thick lines that resemble the shape of an X.
This isn’t the first time Motorola released a limited-edition model of one of its devices. Last year, Verizon sold an exclusive Moto X (2014) with a football leather back. This year’s Moto X Style has leather and wood back options on Moto Maker.
The Moto X Style Pure Edition, released in September, received high praise for its solid performance, much improved camera, beautiful and customizable design, as well as its low price, compared to other flagship smartphones. The phone has a higher pixel-per-inch density than the iPhone 6S Plus, sports a 5.7-inch screen, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor, along with 3GB of RAM. While the phone has average battery life, its fast charging capabilities sort of make up for it. The Moto X Style also has a MicroSD card slot if you ever need more space.
The new designs add even more options to the already long list of Moto Maker customization options for the phone, and these ones are bound to be even more rare.
