Motorola Honeycomb tablet pics and specs

Remember that Motorola tablet Google’s Rick Rubin showed off at the All Things D conference last week? You know, the one running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)? Well, a guy named wnrussell leaked some pictures of the device all over the Internet, revealing a few new specs about it as well. Notably, it’s already Verizon branded, will have a dual-core processor, and front/rear dual cameras. Feast your hungry eyes below.

More pictures can be found at the bottom of this post. Here is what we know about it so far (according to rumor). It will feature 32 GB of internal memory, 5 MP camera on the back, 2 MP front-facing camera, 1280×800 pixel touchscreen, 1 GHz main processor, Nvidia Tegra 2 T20 dual-core graphic processor, 512 MB of RAM, 10 inch multi-touch screen, 3G and faster LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a Micro SD slot for up to 32 GB more storage. Not bad.

Most exciting is the graphics processor, which will go a long way toward providing a smooth interface, ala the iPad, and powering high-quality games and apps. Again, these are only rumors, but they are reasonable stats for a device of this kind. What do you think? Does this look comparable to an iPad?

The Apple Pencil attaches to the iPad mini magnetically.

Apple is rumored to be upgrading the regular iPad later this year with new internals. These renders have been published by MySmartPrice and have been attributed to CAD files sourced from a case maker.
