Pebble is hinting at a new product announcement happening tomorrow, which may be another smartwatch to add to its growing collection. A report from UberGizmo claims the firm is working on a smartwatch with a circular display, a first for the company. The device will apparently come in two sizes and have an 0.9-inch display, smaller than the two current Pebble smartwatches. No photos of any new Pebble product or device have been leaked, so it’s by no means certain yet.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long for the announcement, which is scheduled to happen at 1PM (EST) on September 23, and will coincide with Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky’s appearance at the TechCrunch Disrupt 2015 conference. He may also take the opportunity to announce the release of firmware 3.0 for the original Pebble, which is already available on the Pebble Time and Time Steel.

The last time a Pebble countdown timer reached zero, in February this year, we were introduced to the Time and Time Steel on Kickstarter. The crowdfunding campaign managed to gain over $20 million in funding, but there were reports the company was struggling to stay afloat even with the surge in popularity.

A new smartwatch isn’t the only new announcement Pebble may make. We’re are also hoping the company provides more details about the third-party strap store, which was announced earlier this year. Originally expected to launch alongside the Time and Time Steel, nothing has been heard about it since. Additionally, the SmartStrap SDK is still available for engineers to try out, but so far no strap has been added to the accessories page.

All this may help Pebble stay relevant in the rapidly expanding world of wearables, with the announcement coming just a few weeks after Apple announced new bands and a partnership with Hermes for the Apple Watch, and Samsung’s excellent Gear S2 — our favorite wearable launched at IFA 2015. Both put pressure on Pebble to deliver something interesting this week.

AMD has another new GPU that it says can beat the RTX 4060 Ti

A new RDNA 2 GPU in 2023? While it sounds unlikely, it's true. MSI has just introduced a few prebuilt gaming desktops equipped with various AMD processors and graphics cards, and one of them is the previously unreleased Radeon RX 6750 GRE, which stands for "Golden Rabbit Edition." While it may not rival some of the best GPUs, rumor has it that it'll at least beat Nvidia's RTX 4060 Ti while being just a little pricier than the RTX 4060.

Gigabyte has actually beaten MSI to the punch with the announcement, having revealed its own RX 6750 GRE graphics card first. However, while the Gigabyte GPU is set to be released on October 18, MSI already has a bunch of desktops up for grabs, although we're not seeing a DIY card that you could put into your own system. It just comes as part of MSI's prebuilts, which were first spotted by ITHome and later shared by VideoCardz.

In many ways, choosing the best smartwatch or fitness wearable is even more difficult than choosing a new smartphone. After all, you’ll actually wear it — sometimes for 24 hours a day — and it’s likely to be seen more often than a phone, which spends time in your pocket or bag. It’s vitally important you make the right choice.
