Samsung Galaxy S II event pictures

Yesterday, Samsung unveiled three new models of its Galaxy S II phone, each catering to a specific carrier in the United States. The Manhattan, NY event had fully usable versions of the Sprint and AT&T models, though the T-Mobile model was locked behind clear plastic boxes. This gallery shows a few pictures of the 4.5-inch Sprint Galaxy S II and the 4.3-inch AT&T version. Both phones contain the same innards, but have a few slight physical differences. One of these pictures shows the Sprint model sitting next to the Galaxy S II world model, which can be picked out by its iPhone-like Home button. You’ll also notice that Samsung has removed many Apple-like features, including squared icons. The Galaxy S II looks more like an Android phone now. We’ll have more detailed impressions soon.

If you answered yes to those questions, then AT&T’s new “Next Up Anytime” early upgrade program is made for you. With this add-on, you’ll be able to upgrade your phone three times a year for just $10 extra every month. It will be available starting July 16.

Currently, AT&T has its “Next Up” add-on, which has been available for the past several years. This program costs $6 extra per month and lets you upgrade by trading in your existing phone after at least half of it is paid off. But the new Next Up Anytime option gives you some more flexibility.
