The launch of Samsung’s new smartphones has been met with quite a bit of fanfare already, and now, T-Mobile is just bringing more fun to the party. Beginning Thursday, the Un-carrier is offering customers a buy-one-get-one-free deal with the purchase of either the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The S7 is being offered for $0 down and $28 a month for 24 months, while the S7 Edge will cost you $60 at first blush and $30 per month for 24 months, but you won’t have to pay a penny for the second one you buy. And if you were one of the eager beavers who pre-ordered a Samsung phone, don’t worry — Anyone who has purchased or will purchase during pre-order is also eligible for a free second device.

Whereas other companies translate “free” as “bill credits to be granted over the course of your commitment to us,” T-Mobile insists that it’ll be reimbursing buyers for the full amount of the phone. “We’ll give you a prepaid debit card instead of $23 monthly bill credits over two and a half years,” a spokesperson tells us, so it really is like money in your pocket, not money you’ve already sunk into the company. To sweeten the deal even further, the Un-carrier is also offering a family of four three lines of unlimited LTE data for just $50 a line and giving away the fourth line (you guessed it) for free.

And because T-Mobile is now operating like a late-night infomercial, there’s more! If you’re based in New York, starting Thursday at 9 a.m. ET, you can check out T-Mobile’s new Times Square Signature store for a 360 degree immersive virtual reality experience, featuring the Samsung Gear VR and your new Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. Even if you’re not in the Big Apple, you don’t have to miss out on the big event. T-Mobile promises that customers in other cities can visit their local T-Mobile stores on Friday to get their own VR experience.

To really get the new Samsung phones flying off the shelves, T-Mobile is giving customers a Samsung VR, a six game Oculus bundle, and a free year of Netflix with their S7 purchase. As per usual, T-Mobile will cover your switching costs, up to $650 a line.

Finally, the Samsung Gear S2 Classic arrives in stores at the same time, so you can get it along wth your Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge for less than $17 a month for 24 months. You can find all the details here.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra took the telephoto camera crown from the S23 Ultra and managed to take on and beat the Google Pixel 8 Pro, too. Does that make it the undisputed camera zoom champion? To quote Yoda, there is another. The Vivo X100 Pro has a camera and lens system tuned by Zeiss, and we’ve already seen how impressive its portrait photography ability is, but it also has a clever telephoto camera.
