There’s a new No. 1 this week. The documentary, Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult, edged out Bridgerton season 3 for the top spot. Eric, a new limited series starring Benedict Cumberbatch, debuted at No. 4, with Bryan Cranston’s Your Honor premiering at No. 9. Its second season took the series to new heights, surpassing season 1 in viewership — it currently sits fourth on the list of most popular Netflix shows of all time list. Because of the success of the flagship series, Shonda Rimes is expanding the Bridgerton universe with the first prequel spinoff series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
The six-episode series is told over two timelines: In 1761, a young Queen Charlotte (India Amarteifio) meets and marries King George (Corey Mylchreest), rising to power as the king begins to struggle with mental illness. And in 1817 (the present Bridgerton timeline), Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) learns about the tragic death of her granddaughter Princess Charlotte of Wales, which forces the Queen to pressure her children to marry and have another heir. The series drew 148 million hours of viewing worldwide in its first four days, the fourth-biggest opening of 2023 on Netflix.

Adam confesses to Michael, who encourages his son to turn himself in.
However, things change when Adam reveals the teenager he killed is the son of Jimmy Baxter (Michael Stuhlbarg), a drug kingpin. Jimmy will kill Adam if he finds out, so Michael decides to use his power to cover up the crime. Michael’s ensuing decisions force him to go against the laws he swore to uphold.

Based on the book series by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton follows the Bridgerton family, a noble and well-respected family in London. There are eight siblings, including Anthony (Wicked‘s Jonathan Bailey), Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor), Colin (Luke Newton), and Eloise (Claudia Jessie).
The first season picks up at the start of the social season in 1813. Daphne is one of the debutantes being introduced into society. Once Daphne is named the social season’s diamond, she draws numerous suitors, none of which she likes or appreciates. Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page), the Duke of Hastings and old friend of Anthony, pretends to court Daphne to fend off his potential suitors and increase Daphne’s chances of finding the right man. Bridgerton brings the heat in the romantic department, but it’s also a charming costume drama that’s easy to digest.
6. Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal season 1 (2024)
For those unfamiliar with Ashley Madison, it’s an online dating service where married people can look for affairs. Launched in 2002, the Canadian website uses the tagline, “Life is short. Have an affair.” In 2015, a hacker group known as The Impact Team threatened to leak private information about Ashley Madison’s users if the site continued to run.
In August 2015, The Impact Team held up their word and released lots of data regarding the site’s users. The data breach is one of the topics covered in the new series Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal. The show explores how Ashley Madison rose to power, the ensuing hack that killed its momentum, and the eventual rebirth of the site.
5. Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 1 (2024)
7.7/10After the events in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, “The Nublar Six” reunite for a new mission on the mainland in the animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. After the dinosaurs were released from captivity in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the prehistoric creatures now roam the Earth freely and live alongside humans.
The Nublar Six are being hunted, so they reunite to figure out who might be after them. During their investigation, the group uncovers a conspiracy that threatens all living things — humans and dinosaurs — and learns about “what happened to one of their own.”

This sinks Vincent into depression as he cuts himself off from his friends and family.
The only thing giving Vincent hope is Edgar’s old drawings of a blue monster named Eric. Vincent believes if he gets Eric on television, it will reunite him with Edgar. Yet, Vincent’s mental health begins to deteriorate as he begins to see Eric in his real life. It’s only a matter of time before things turn for the worse.

1. Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult season 1 (2024)
Many TikTokers have become famous for dancing. Sisters Miranda and Melanie Wilking are two of the app’s success stories, generating millions of followers and impressions that led to monetary partnerships with notable brands. Miranda joined 7M Films, a management company owned by Robert Shinn, a pastor at Shekinah Church.
Miranda started spending more time with 7M and less with her family. This eventually led Melanie and her parents to come out in 2022 and state that 7M was a cult manipulating Miranda. Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult explores the dark side of the management company and investigates if the cult accusations are true. It’s an eye-opening look into how a church can manipulate and influence its followers.
