Sanders, however, was so talented that he played two: football and baseball. Sanders playing in the NFL and MLB is a remarkable feat, but the fact that he found success in both sports is truly unfathomable.

Deion’s Double Play chronicles Sanders’ attempt in 1992 to play two games for the Atlanta Braves and one game for the Atlanta Falcons within 24 hours. Even though the events were in different cities located 1,000 miles apart, if one athlete could pull off the impossible, it was Deion.

Usually, sports movies are based on real teams or players. In the case of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, the movie inspired the team. In 1992, a ragtag group of peewee hockey players rallied under coach Gordon Bombay to win the Minnesota State Championship in The Mighty Ducks. The film became a surprise hit at the box office, earning $50 million against a $14 million budget. One year later, Disney CEO Michael Eisner, inspired by the underdog message of the film, brought the Mighty Ducks to life by bringing pro hockey to Anaheim.

Without players or coaches, Eisner assembled a hockey franchise within one year, and they became the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. At first, the team struggled, becoming one of the worst teams in the NHL. Once Upon A Time In Anaheim chronicles the early days of the Mighty Ducks and their journey from the laughing stock of the league to Stanley Cup contenders.

Fate of a Sport depicts Rabil’s pursuit to create his own professional lacrosse league, which would become the Premiere Lacrosse League (PLL). If you're looking for some titles on the surface that have flown a little more under the radar, then we've got you covered. We've selected three underrated shows available on Netflix that you can check out this weekend, and that will be perfect for whatever mood you might be in.

The best new shows to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Max (HBO), and more
A chef stands in the kitchen and stares.

The final weekend of June has arrived, and we've saved some of the best for last. In a month that gave us new episodes of Bridgerton, the premiere of The Acolyte, and new seasons for The Boys and House of the Dragon, FX and Hulu's The Bear still manages to sit above the rest as one of the top TV shows of this era. All 10 episodes of The Bear season 3 have arrived, and you can either binge them all at once or watch them at your own pace.

Netflix and Prime Video also have new arrivals this week with Supacell and My Lady Jane. The former plays like a British remake of Heroes with an all-Black cast of main characters, while the latter takes a historical figure and turns her life upside down into an unexpected fantasy. My Lady Jane caught us by surprise, and it may end up as one of the sleeper streaming hits of the summer.

3 underrated (HBO) Max movies you should watch this weekend (June 28-30)
A girl looks at a boy in House at the End of the Street.

June is surprisingly over, and with it, a great month for movies comes to a satisfactory close. You've probably watched Inside Out 2 or Bad Boys: Ride or Die or maybe even The Bikeriders. From blockbusters to indie fare, the theatrical movie business has been robust and healthy.

The same goes for streaming. Netflix had a big hit with Richard Linklater's Hit Man, while Amazon Prime Video recently premiered the latest bonkers season of The Boys. HBO and Max have been quieter, but their robust library speaks volumes to the streamer's high quality. The following three films are older, but are just as worth your time as new hits like House of the Dragon season 2.
