In addition, there will be the anticipated debut of the original documentary Golden Boy, a Project Greenlight reboot, something called Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, and Shark Week. The Last of Us season 2: HBO releases new images of Joel and Ellie
Bella Ramsey wields a shotgun in The Last of Us.

Joel and Ellie are back in the first look at The Last of Us season 2. HBO released new images featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey during Tuesday's Warner Bros. Discovery Upfront presentation. The second season will premiere in 2025 on HBO and Max.

Based on Naughty Dog's beloved video games for PlayStation, The Last of Us stars Pascal as Joel, a jaded survivor of a pandemic caused by a mass fungal infection. Ramsey plays Ellie, a 14-year-old girl who may hold the key to finding a cure. Joel is hired to smuggle Ellie out of a quarantine zone. "What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey," the official logline reads, "as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival."

War is coming in House of the Dragon season 2 trailer
A boy sits on his throne in "House of the Dragon" season 2.

It's time to pick a side in the battle for the realm in the House of the Dragon season 2 trailer. The official footage from the upcoming season teases war, deception, and, of course, dragons.

"A Targaryen who sits the Iron Throne is not just a king or a queen. They are a protector of the realm,” Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen says to open the trailer. Rhaenyra and Prince Daemon are seen gaining allies for Team Black and readying their army for an attack. Their opponent is Team Green, led by Queen Alicent Hightower and her son, King Aegon II Targaryen.

Starting next week, Dune fans can return to Arrakis in the comfort of their own homes. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced that Dune: Part Two will be available to stream on Max on May 21.

Dune: Part Two continues the epic story of Paul Atreides (Wonka star Timothée Chalamet), who teams with the Fremen to seek revenge on those who killed his family. Dune: Part Two's A-list cast includes Zendaya (Challengers), Rebecca Ferguson, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub, Christopher Walken, Charlotte Rampling, Stellan Skarsgård, and Javier Bardem.
Dune: Part Two was directed by Denis Villeneuve from a script he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts.
