Everything coming to Max (formerly HBO Max) in September 2023

In September, Max is saying goodbye to the summer. Shows like The Last of Us and movies like The Flash have helped make Max one of the best destinations for streaming content. And September’s additions will continue to bolster the streamer with a wide selection of titles.

May was an eventful month for Netflix. The streamer opened with a bang with A Man in Full and John Mulaney's live show Everybody's in L.A., debuted the latest season of Bridgerton in the middle of the month, and in the last week of the month, it launched a strange new show with Benedict Cumberbatch called Eric. (We won't mention Jerry Seinfeld's unfortunate "comedy," Unfrosted.) It was a typically diverse programming slate for Netflix, which still leads the industry in total number of subscribers.
