The sisters are back in Season Three trailer for Orphan Black

Official Orphan Black Season 3 Trailer - BBC America
BBC America’s Orphan Black continues to be be one of television’s most under-the-radar gems with its fascinating, sci-fi premise and a leading lady who should’ve been in the Primetime Emmy Award conversation since the show’s very first season. The series was renewed for a third season last year, and the first trailer for the new season — which kicks off April 18 — has now found its way online.

The next arc (spoiler alert) sees the return of the female clones played by Tatiana Maslany as they continue to search for the truth about their origins and the shadowy organization that’s been monitoring them, as well as dealing with the discovery that they’re not the only clones out there.

The series and its star, which have shared a long list of awards and nominations over the course of two critically acclaimed seasons, also welcome some new supporting cast members for the third season. Among the newcomers are Justin Chatwin (Shameless), James Frain (True Blood), and Ksenia Solo (Black Swan).

Orphan Black co-creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett will also return this season in their roles as series writer and director, respectively.

MCU star Jeremy Renner returns in first trailer for Mayor of Kingstown season 3
Jeremy Renner in Mayor of Kingston season 3.

On January 1, 2023, Jeremy Renner was badly wounded when his snowplow crushed him. Renner's injuries, including almost 40 broken bones, were so severe that it was miraculous he survived, much less recovered. But now, 16 months later, Renner's comeback begins in the first trailer for the third season of his Paramount+ original series, Mayor of Kingstown.

It's unclear if the show plans to explain any physical limitations that Renner's character, Mike McLusky, may have after Renner's real-life accident. Yet there are a few scenes in the trailer where Mike appears to be getting into some fights. But the real battles ahead are the ones that not even Mike can win with his fists.

The Nice Guys - Gosling and Crowe

For many, Shane Black is best known as the writer of classic 1980s and '90s action movies like Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout, Last Action Hero, and The Long Kiss Goodnight. As legendary as his screenwriting credits are, though, Black has built an almost equally impressive second career for himself over the past 20 years as a director. He has made two of the most beloved crime comedies of the 21st century. On top of that, he's directed two franchise sequels that, whether you like them or not, manage to subvert your expectations at nearly every turn.

Black, unfortunately, hasn't gotten to direct as many movies as his fans would like, and it's been six years since his last film. Nonetheless, his directorial efforts are all noteworthy enough to warrant being discussed in the internet's preferred manner, which is to say ranked from worst to best.

Everything is possible in new Doctor Who season 14 trailer
Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor in Doctor Who.

So far, Doctor Who fans have only seen Ncuti Gatwa's 15th Doctor in a cameo appearance in the final 60th anniversary special and in a single Christmas special last year. While it's too early to say what kind of Doctor that Gatwa will be, he sure has a winning smile in the new trailer for Doctor Who season 14. The latest preview from the upcoming season is very light on story details, but off the charts in terms of the chemistry between the Doctor and his new companion, Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson). Ruby seems a lot like the Doctor's previous companions Rose Tyler and Amy Pond. But if these clips are any indication, Ruby's going to grow into the role.
