The cameras are still rolling on James Bond’s next adventure, SPECTRE, and along with some videos from the set of the film that were released last month, we now have the first teaser poster for the movie.
The first official poster for the 24th installment of the world-famous franchise features Daniel Craig as super-spy James Bond wearing a black turtleneck and holster while holding his signature Walther PPK.
While the look is clearly inspired by the fashions sported by previous James Bond actors — with a healthy dose of Steve McQueen’s iconic look in Bullitt thrown in — many have pointed out that a certain animated super-spy (who began as a parody of James Bond) would probably be very excited about Agent 007’s new look. After all, James Bond dusting off the old tactical turtleneck (a tactilneck, as Archer’s Sterling Archer calls it) is cause for celebration.
When it premieres this Fall, SPECTRE will pit Bond against a mysterious, sinister agency bent on destroying the secret service from the inside.
Directed by Sam Mendes, the filmmaker responsible for the critically-acclaimed Bond film Skyfall, the new film will offer a talented cast including Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel) and Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), as well as Ben Wishaw (Perfume: The Story of a Murderer), Naomie Harris (28 Weeks Later), Monica Bellucci (Irreversible), David Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Léa Seydoux (Inglourious Basterds), Stephanie Sigman (Miss Bala), Andrew Scott (Sherlock), and Rory Kinnear (Quantum of Solace).
SPECTRE hits theaters November 6, 2015.
