The Boys get animated, and more twisted, in Diabolical trailer

After skipping 2021, The Boys season 3 will premiere on Amazon Prime on June 3. But if you can’t wait until this summer, the creators behind the series have a treat for you next month. The Boys: Diabolical is an anthology of animated shorts set in the world of The Boys. And if the new trailer is any indication, the alternative medium has allowed Diabolical to go even farther than the live-action series.

There are a few familiar faces in the trailer, including the leader of the Boys, Billy Butcher, and his most-hated super adversary, Homelander. But the big takeaway is that the problems in this anthology are caused by people who want superhuman powers of their own. Taking a dose of Compound V can be life-changing, and not in a good way. One guy wants to be Homelander so badly that he seemingly gets his wish. Somehow, we suspect the real Homelander will make sure that’s a fatal mistake.

Everything you need to know about Reacher season 3
Alan Ritchson in Reacher.

Few Amazon Prime Video shows have been as popular or celebrated as Reacher. A television adaptation of Lee Child's lengthy book series, Reacher follows the titular hero, a hardcore detective and self-described hobo who goes around solving crimes and learning the truth using his singular and violent brand of justice.

So far, two seasons of the show have been produced, each receiving critical and commercial acclaim and cementing Reacher as the best action show currently available. Logically, a third season is already on the way, meaning fans can keep enjoying the badass adventures of this massive and unstoppable hero. Here's everything we know so far about Reacher season 3.

3 underrated (HBO) Max movies you should watch this weekend (June 28-30)
A girl looks at a boy in House at the End of the Street.

June is surprisingly over, and with it, a great month for movies comes to a satisfactory close. You've probably watched Inside Out 2 or Bad Boys: Ride or Die or maybe even The Bikeriders. From blockbusters to indie fare, the theatrical movie business has been robust and healthy.

The same goes for streaming. Netflix had a big hit with Richard Linklater's Hit Man, while Amazon Prime Video recently premiered the latest bonkers season of The Boys. HBO and Max have been quieter, but their robust library speaks volumes to the streamer's high quality. The following three films are older, but are just as worth your time as new hits like House of the Dragon season 2.
