Thor stands his ground in the newly released trailer

Up to this point, although there have been plenty of clips and stills of the upcoming film Thor, there really hasn’t been much of a look at what the film will be like. Sure you have a guy with a hammer, Natalie Portman looks hot and Anthony Hopkins gets mad and grounds Thor to Earth, but beyond small hints and ideas, it hasn’t been all that easy to get a feel for the upcoming Marvel Studios film.

In the trailer released earlier today, the film seems to be coming together nicely, and it may now be safely to become genuinely excited for director Kenneth Branagh’s take on the Asgardian superhero.

By now you probably have an idea of what Marvel is going to do, and if not, someone in the Marvel PR department has failed miserably. Beginning with the Iron Man films, Marvel has been crafting a universe around its characters which will reach a crescendo when the characters of Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America join the Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury in next summer’s The Avengers.

Thor marks the third film in Marvel’s plan after the two Iron Man films, and next up is Captain America: The First Avenger, which hits theaters on July 22. Look for Thor in theaters in 3D, on May 6.

5 things the MCU should do if they bring back the original Avengers
The Avengers assemble in a board room in Endgame.

Following Marvel Studios' recent slew of critical and commercial disappointments, Variety has reported that the studio is now considering featuring the six original Avengers in a future film. This would mean the Marvel Cinematic Universe would bring back Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff, who had lost their lives during the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Comic books are no stranger to killing and reviving popular characters, and this trend has made its way into the movies. But after these two characters left the franchise on such a high note, it is possible bringing them back might do more harm than good. Despite this, should the MCU bring all these heroes back together, they should make the most of this opportunity and do these five things.

Want to know why the MCU stinks lately? We’ll tell you
The Avengers assembling on a dilapidated street in 2012's The Avengers.

It's a commonly held belief now that the MCU has seen better days. Hell, that's putting it lightly; the Marvel Cinematic Universe pretty much stinks, and even its successes like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are tinged with a faint feeling of disappointment.

There are a number of reasons why: bad scripts, mediocre VFX, a general sense of narrative aimlessness, and too many variants and multiverses for anyone to follow while still keeping their sanity intact. Nobody knew for sure what the heck was wrong with the MCU exactly ... until now. In a scathing expose, Variety's Tatiana Siegel paints an illuminating and messy picture of a once-invulnerable studio besieged by a multitude of problems, both internal and external, that have tarnished its brand and have left many fans, myself included, jaded about its future. Among the many revelations are the following:
The Marvels could be the MCU's The Flash

A big part of a superhero's appeal is their costume. Whether they're brimming with color or dark as night, these super-suits help convey to their audience the kind of hero they'll see wearing them.

While some comic book movies have taken liberties in creating realistic costumes, many times, the heroes rock outfits that look exactly like what they wore in the source material. Out of the many costumes seen on film, these ten have reached the height of superhero fashion.
