It’s hard to believe that November is winding down. With December on the horizon, Netflix will remove a group of movies from its streaming service. Some of these movies made their way onto the most popular list, including Arrival, Superbad, and Dear John.
With less than a week remaining in the month, you should make some time to watch these three movies on Netflix. Our selections include a musical comedy, an underrated action comedy, and a timeless classic from Harold Ramis. Watch these films before they leave Netflix at the end of November.
Pitch Perfect (2012)
If you don’t like Pitch Perfect, aca-scuse yourself out of this conversation. For college freshman Beca (Anna Kendrick), fitting in was never her thing. She’d rather become a DJ and work at a radio station than make friends. That changes when Beca joins the Barden Bellas, the university’s all-female a cappella group. The Bellas are led by Aubrey Posen (Anna Camp), the uptight leader who believes in tradition and sticking to the group’s core songs and principles.
The new-look Bellas are outcasts at the school, attempting to rebuild their reputation after a disastrous showing at the championships a year prior. With Beca in the group, the Bellas innovate their sound and incorporate new harmonies and songs into their setlist. Will it be enough to win the championship? Watch and aca-find out.

American Made (2017)
American Made is the last time Tom Cruise played a character not named Ethan Hunt or Maverick. Since its 2017 release, Cruise’s portrayal of Barry Seal has become one of his more underrated performances. The film is inspired by the real-life Seal, a former pilot who became a drug smuggler and DEA informant.
Directed by Doug Liman, American Made picks up in the late 1970s when the CIA hired Sealto fly reconnaissance missions over South America. Seal began running cocaine and guns for the Medellín Cartel in the 1980s. He makes so much money that he’s forced to bury bags of cash in his backyard. However, the DEA soon gets word of Seal’s involvement and forces him to become an informant or face prison time. American Made is highly entertaining thanks to Cruise, whose movie star persona perfectly fits the role of Seal.

Groundhog Day (1993)
Although the time loop has been around in literature and Japanese anime for along time, the plot device skyrocketed in popularity thanks to 1993’s Groundhog Day. Phil Connors (Bill Murray) is a pessimistic TV weatherman assigned to cover Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. A blizzard hits the town, forcing Phil to stay overnight. The next morning, Phil wakes up and realizes it’s Groundhog Day again.
At first, Phil thinks it déjà vu. After relieving the day multiple times, Phil lives without a care in the world, eating whatever he wants and saying whatever he feels. This godlike attitude eventually leads to depression. Stuck in the loop, Phil finally views the day as a blessing, not a curse, and tries to do some good in the world. Will that be enough to escape the day and move to February 3?
