A few lucky Adele addicts are getting their fix early.

Having released Hello, the first single off her upcoming album, on Friday — much to the delight of seemingly everyone on the Internet — the British singer now has plans to share more from the album soon. BBC Music announced an upcoming hour-long special,  Adele At The BBC, in which the Grammy winner will perform her earlier work, as well as songs from her much anticipated new record 25.

Graham Norton, a TV presenter and stand-up comedian, will host the show and chat with Adele about her career and life in general. He described the show as “the music event of the year,” adding that he’d be at home watching it if he weren’t hosting. “This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat,” he said in a press release.

Somewhat surprisingly, the upcoming show will be Adele’s first televised performance since February 2013 when she performed Skyfall at the 85th Academy Awards. (She also collected the Oscar for Best Original Song while she was at it.) The wait makes it all that much sweeter for Adele lovers out there, and it turns out she’s equally excited. “I can’t wait for the show,” she said. “The BBC has been wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it’s going to be a laugh.”

Those in the London area (or those willing to travel) can try to get tickets, but it won’t be easy. Seating is limited and demand is guaranteed to be high. There’s also a short window to buy; fans must apply between now and midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

For those of us who aren’t lucky enough to attend the live show on Nov. 2, it will air on BBC One later in the month. BBC Worldwide is also offering international distributors the chance to air the special, either as the complete 60-minute version or as a 45-minute performance-only version. Overseas, the special will be called Adele Live In London.

Adele’s new album is available for pre-order on Amazon now, with a release date slated for November 20th. And considering that her first album has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, this isn’t just an album release, it’s a global event.

How to download music and podcasts from Spotify: The downloads folder.

If you're a Spotify Premium user paying that premium Spotify fee, chances are you've taken at least some time curating playlists, liking songs, and using the platform's easy-to-use (and recently revamped) user interface to discover new and old music.

But sometimes all that music or your favorite podcasts aren't available if you find yourself without an internet connection to stream them from — like on a long plane ride or weekend camping trip in the sticks. That's where Spotify's offline listening feature comes in handy, allowing you to download playlists, albums, and podcasts through its desktop and mobile apps so you can still rock out while you're off the grid.

How to switch from Spotify to Apple Music
Spotify and Apple Music transfer on a smartphone.

Spotify is the world's most popular music streaming service for a reason. It has a massive catalog of music and podcasts, is full of cool music discovery and sharing features, and is really easy to use.
However, with its recent price increase and the fact that it still hasn't joined most of its peers in offering a hi-res audio quality option, you may be considering jumping ship for its closest competitor, Apple Music, which counts lossless hi-res tracks, mind-bending spatial audio, Dolby Atmos Music tracks, and a catalog that rivals Spotify's among the many attractive reasons to switch.

But there's one problem: you’ve spent a lot of time creating playlists and marking songs and albums as your favorites in Spotify. Is it worth the switch? Will all that hard work be lost in translation?
