Best grill deals: Summer savings on gas, charcoal, and pellet grills

Grilling can be a lot of fun, and with the weather getting warmer and folks wanting to go outside more, now is the perfect time to pick up or upgrade to a new grill. Luckily, there are a lot of great deals out there on the best outdoor grills, so you have a lot of options to pick from, whether you want something basic and small or something high-end that can cook for a crowd. There are even some excellent options for grills and smokers if you want to try smoking your food for the first time. Either way, we’ve gone out and collected our favorite grill deals across the board and put them for you below.

While there is a lot of focus on really fancy and heavy-duty grills, if you don’t grill often and just want something simple and easy to move around, the Fire Sense Yakatori Charcoal Grill is the perfect option. Even though it’s more budget-oriented, it has a couple of nice features, like a clay construction that helps with radiating heat, as well as adjustable ventilation so you can increase or decrease the strength of the fire. As for the cooking surface, you get 157 square inches, which should be more than enough to grill enough food for three people.

The Everdure CUBE charcoal grill is a unique little grill that can truly go almost anywhere with you. It’s lightweight and only 17-inches long, yet still can handle almost any grilling challenge a griller on the go could hope to throw at it. It has a built-in heat protection shield and chrome handles that remain cool while cooking, and the removable charcoal tray offers easy cleanup when you’re finished at the campground or on the beach. Wherever you intend to do some grilling this summer, the Everdure CUBE charcoal grill is a great option as a copilot.

For a classic backyard barbecue at a more affordable price than most grills you can turn to the Cahr-Broil Kettleman. It’s a charcoal grill with 360 square inches of total cooking area, and it makes for one of the simplest grilling experiences available. It does chip in with some grill technology, as it has a TRU-Infrared cooking system that helps you cook food evenly with less flare-ups.

Another great portable option that gives you a lot of versatility is the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill & Smoker, which, as the name suggests, can do both grilling and smoking. While it’s not going to be as good as an independent smoker, it’s a good start, and Ninja even throws in a couple of bags of different woodfire pellets for you to get going. That said, it’s worth noting it only works with Ninja pellets, which is a shame. Regardless, its use as a grill is great, with the ability to fit up to six stakes and made to be weather-resistant, so you can leave it outside all year round.

The Pit Boss Ultimate is truly that—ultimate. It has four burners and 647 square inches of grilling surface. Its huge range of features include a removable grease tray, folding shelves with built-in tool hooks, a solid bottom shelf, a paper towel holder, a trash bag holder, and chrome handles and knobs. Despite its ultimate capability, the Pit Boss Ultimate is still completely portable. It utilizes easy lift-off technology for easy transport to any campsite or tailgating spot, making it a great option if you’re looking to grill both at home and in the wild this summer.

The Genesis is capable of creating a full backyard culinary experience, with this S-335 model capable of grilling, baking, and even stir-frying. You can sear, roast and steam with the Weber Genesis S-335 as well, as it comes with a variety of custom fit grillware to suit. It has three burners that provide even cooking across the grill, and one of the add-on features you won’t find on many other grills include an extra-large prep and serve table that fits multiple serving trays and cutting boards.

Goal Zero is expanding its lighting range today with a backup LED system called the Skylight. The Goal Zero Skylight is an all-in-one set that includes a 33Wh battery built in and six LED panels that can blast out 6,000 lumens all told.

There are four brightness settings available, if that much light is overkill for your needs, and the panels can angle outwards as needed to cover a larger area. Combined with the 12 feet of telescoping available from the tripod, you can cover quite the range with visibility. A handle with a one-button release allows you to quickly deploy the Skylight for outdoor work or play, and stakes stored in the legs give you the option to keep it in place.
