Part camera, part portable photo gallery, Kodak’s new Slice digital camera uses a massive 3.5-inch touchscreen (think: iPhone size). Although we’ve seen touch-screen cams from Kodak in the past, this one seemed by far the most slick and responsive, thanks in part to the capacitive tech used on the screen. To let you show off photos long after you’ve dumped them from the SD card, the Slice reduces a copy of every shot you take and stores it to 2GB of internal memory, giving it a capacity of about 5,000 archived pictures, in addition to whatever full-size shots you take on an SD card. It also sports advanced facial recognition that can actually tell different people apart and index your photos accordingly. The Slice will go on sale in April for $350.
