While preparing for a shoot at Amari Supercars in Preston, England, a man believed to be the photographer drove a Lamborghini Aventador through the front doors of the luxury showroom, leaving behind shards of glass and tens of thousands of dollars in damage.
Lamborghini Aventadors are capable of reaching speeds over 200 mph and start at around $400,000 for the base model — not exactly the type of car you want to run through a window during a photo shoot.
Amari Supercar director Saba Syed remained quiet on the details, brushing the crash off as “a minor incident” while speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post. Eyewitnesses have a rather different story though, with one going to far as to calling the incident “mayhem.”
According to an eyewitness, the Aventador shot through the showroom doors damaging two other vehicles, believed to be Ferraris, in the process. Nothing appeared out of line with either the vehicle or operator though, with the eyewitnesses saying, “the Lambo was in a right state — and so too was the bloke who’d been driving it.”
Thankfully, no human injuries resulted from the accident, despite an ambulance being called to the scene per protocol.
Considering how many zeroes will likely be involved in the financial resolution of this accident, one would think Amari Supercars would be a bit bitter about the whole thing. But that doesn’t appear to be the case. Below is a cheeky little reply the firm shared when a follower poked fun at it on Twitter:
