According to Lisa Baxt, Nikon’s associate general manager of communications, “Across the country, this is an exciting time of year as many people head outdoors to experience fall foliage and its incredible colors. Nikon was thrilled to be the catalyst that encouraged people to capture and share beautiful images of their autumn experiences.”

Pennsylvania’s forests and valleys, particularly in the Northeastern and Pocono regions, and North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Parkway placed those two states right behind New York. You can view the submissions on Nikon’s Facebook page, or by searching the hashtag #NikonFall followed by the state’s abbreviation on Twitter and Instagram. Also, if you want to up your fall photography game, Nikon shares tips for shooting autumn foliage on its site.
