Sony yesterday announced a new high definition video camcorder which is over a quarter more compact then its predecessor and costs less. The new HDR-HC3 HDV 1080i Handycam camcorder is priced at $1,699.99 and should be available in April.
The HD-HC3, said Sony, sports a Carl Zeiss Vario- Sonnar T* lens and Sony CMOS sensor technology to deliver what the company says is more vivid colors and precise image detail.
