Apple's Craig Federighi made the company's stance perfectly clear during Monday's WWDC 2018 keynote, stating that Apple is not merging iOS with MacOS. Instead, Apple is working on bringing UIkit to MacOS so that app developers for iPhone and iPad aren't required to start from scratch for Macs.
