This Wednesday September 29, 2010, Monster Cable is holding a private event to unveil several new headphone products under the Beats by Dr. Dre brand. We hear that Dr. Dre will be in the house as will record mogul Jimmy Lovine and Monster’s very own Noel Lee. 
Details are being kept on the down-low, but sources promise the invitation-only event held at the Best Buy Theater will be a star studded gala with live music and shiny new Beats by Dr. Dre headphones aplenty.
The Beats by Dre line was first introduced in July 2008. Since then, the line has expanded to include models such as the Beats Studio, Beats Solo, Beats Spin, Heartbeats (endorsed by Lady Gaga) and, most recently, the Diddy Beats (endorsed by Sean Combs).
Beats by Dr. Dre has enjoyed a fair amount of success since their introduction and seems to have inspired other headphone makers jump into the “street style” headphone arena.
On Septermber 29th, we’ll see what Monster’s been hiding up their sleeve as we get our first glimpse of the new headgear. Rumor has it that there may be as many as five new models announced. They’ve done plenty to keep the new kit hush-hush, so we anticipate some interesting products. Stay tuned…we’ll have news and product reviews for these new ‘phones coming the day of the event.
