It wasn’t that many years ago that exploring a faraway country without actually going there meant looking at it in an atlas, getting a book from the library, or asking someone about it.

Today, we can simply hop online to find out more, including hitting Google’s amazing Street View service to view on-the-ground imagery. Heck, we can even strap on a VR headset, adjust our apartment’s temperature to match that of our chosen destination, and feel like we’re really there. Well, almost.

So how about Argentina? Ever fancied visiting? If you’ve already been, lucky you. If not, you might want to explore a new bunch of Street View photos showcasing the South American country’s many national parks.

“Have you ever wondered what it’s like to side across a glacier? Or how it feels to stretch your arms beneath a waterfall?” Street View asks in a blog post introducing the new content. “Well, now you can see for yourself. In its more than 2.7 million square kilometers, Argentina is home of some of the most spectacular natural settings on the globe.”

Included in the stunning collection of panoramic pictures is Los Glaciares National Park’s imposing Perito Moreno Glacier, the waterfalls of Iguazú National Park, and sweeping vistas of Patagonia National Park.

Argentina has more than 30 national parks, and Google’s Street View team has now gathered imagery for almost half of them. So if you fancy exploring more of the country but have no plans to cross the border in person, head here to enjoy amazing views of the country’s beautiful natural wonders.
